Original Pressure Nascido no Porto de 1988, desde cedo que Bruno Lopes descobre um interesse especial pela música e uma forte vontade em dedicar a sua atenção ao ‘DJing’. A sua entrada no mundo da vertente eletrónica surge de forma natural e em 2006 oficializa-se o compromisso de criar um projecto de Drum and Bass. Entre um grupo de amigos, surge a ideia de criar um projecto que ganha forma e dá origem ao colectivo “Original Pressure”. O crescimento exponencial na arte da mistura merece o reconhecimento do seu trabalho e traduz-se em convites para diversos eventos de Norte a Sul do país, onde o colectivo tem o privilégio de partilhar o palco com nomes reconhecidos internacionalmente, tais como Andy C, Noisia, Dirtyphonics, Roni Size, Spor, MC IC3, entre outros. Mais tarde, o projeto segue caminhos diferentes. Bruno representa o projecto em Portugal e Diogo (criador do colectivo Original Pressure) representa estas mesmas cores no Reino Unido, residindo atualmente em Londres. O nome e identidade Original Pressure mantem-se, enquanto que cada membro procura novos caminhos com o objectivo de assegurar a sua própria individualidade artística. Em 2018, Bruno tem a oportunidade de se aliar à Counterpoint, colectivo portuense que se destaca pela sua qualidade enquanto editora e promotora de eventos. A sua evolução como DJ corre em paralelo à paixão pelo Drum and Bass e a sua maior transformação surge precisamente neste momento, resultando numa capacidade mais coerente e centrada na interpretação e consequente expressão individual da sua sonoridade no mundo da música eletrónica a 170 batidas por minuto. Born in Porto in 1988, Bruno Lopes soon discovered a special interest in music and a strong desire to dedicate his attention to 'DJing'. His first steps into the world of electronic music happened naturally and in 2006 he made official his commitment to create a Drum and Bass project. Among a group of friends, the idea of creating a project took shape and gave birth to the "Original Pressure" collective. The exponential growth in the art of mixing deserves the recognition of their work and translates into invitations to various events from North to South of the country, where the collective has the privilege of sharing the stage with internationally recognized names such as Andy C, Noisia, Dirtyphonics, Roni Size, Spor, MC IC3, followed by many more in the scene. Later, the project follows different paths. Bruno represents the project in Portugal and Diogo (creator of the Original Pressure collective) represents these same colors in the UK, currently living in London. The Original Pressure name and identity remains, while each member seeks new paths with the aim of ensuring their own artistic individuality. In 2018, Bruno has the opportunity to join Counterpoint, a collective from Porto that stands out for its quality as a label and event promoter. His evolution as a DJ runs parallel to his passion for Drum and Bass and his greatest transformation comes precisely at this moment, leading into a more coherent capacity focused on the interpretation and consequent individual expression of his sound in the world of electronic music at 170 beats per minute.
