"This set was recorded on a winter night in Mexico City prior to going out and enjoying some techno. The idea behind this piece was to build it up, starting slow and then increasing the bpm in a subtle way. This was sort of an experiment that turned into a pretty smooth set. Last track of the set aims to change the pace so you can get back to your regular activities. Harmonic mixing is in effect along the way and I also tried to let the songs play and do the work. This set is almost the opposite to my last WAVES set where there are many turns and movement. Here I was hoping to create a smooth and hypnotic vibe that increases the intensity as it unfolds.
