Founded in Lisbon in 2013, Scratchers Anónimos is a collective dedicated to the culture of scratch, turntablism and Hip Hop. Over the years, the collective has established itself as one of the key references in Portugal’s turntablism scene, developing initiatives that bring together DJs, practitioners and audiences around the culture of the turntable. From Open Scratch Jams and DJ workshops to SA Battles and Back to Scratch parties, their work focuses on keeping the practice alive, accessible and constantly evolving creating spaces for learning, competition, experimentation and community.
